Dr. Dixon graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello and received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Idaho State University. He attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Dixon completed his residency at the University of Utah in family and preventative medicine. He is board certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Family Practice Medicine.
Dr. Dixon has received numerous awards for his academics excellence including Magna Cum Laude and Member of the Deans list, UHSCOM. He has held the position of Vice President of the Osteopathic Club, UHSCOM, and received the Employee Recognition of Service Award, Aspen Crest Hospital, 1992.
Dr. Dixon is currently accepting new patients and their families to his practice which includes care of children and adolescents, pregnancy, obstetrics and gynecology, care of the elderly, and supervision of the family and its health care needs.
He spends his free time with his wife JoAnn, and their three children. They enjoy water-skiing, snow skiing, sports, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
